OK so really... In my opinion, the tailor did exactly what she was told to do. . . First she either wasn't given enough fabric OR she was told to make a short dress OR her budget did not accommodate it. But I believe it's a combination of all 3. To me, it looks like she ordered a midi-gown and not a full-length ball gown though we probably cannot tell the real length from the picture on the left. . . 2nd, no tailor will sew a round neck if given a VNeck or sweetheart neckline. She may sew a terrible version of it but definitely not a round neck. So she was probably told to replace the neckline. . . 3rd, the actual dress probably has a hooped skirt underneath. The lady clearly did not order hers with a hooped skirt. Besides, the model has a tiny waist while the lady does not. They will not look the same. . . Most people go to their tailors with pictures and edit the pictures because in their opinion, they have created 'their own design'. I think what happened was her design did not really turn out as planned so rather than own up to the error, she blames it on the tailor. I could be wrong but I am almost certain that was what happened. And if that really was what happened, it is extremely unfair to call out the tailor for doing exactly what she was told to do. . .
