Register for our Short Course in Jacket-Making & Trousers - Start Date 2 May, 2015 (Weekend Option) & 6 May 2015 (Weekday Option)

Yes this is the 2nd Course we are running in May :-D :-D :-D.  I thoroughly enjoyed running this Course last December and I am looking forward to it again!  Yes I am turning over a new leaf now... thanks to those who alerted me to it - AND giving you enough advance notice of the Course to enable you prepare.

About the Course:

The Short Course in Jacket-Making & Trousers is a Ladieswear Course and it teaches how to create a proper tailored trouser suit - which is really a combination of a tailored trousers and tailored pants -  from scratch!

The Course teaches the principles behind creating the pattern for both garments and the jacket can be worn as part of a formal suit or modified as a casual jacket.

The tailored pants is also suitable as part of a formal office suit or as part of a casual jumpsuit.

Please not that this Course is for experienced "sewers" only!  You cannot take the Course if you do not know how to sew.

Brief Introduction to Pattern-Making.
Taking the Proper Body Measurements Required to Create Both Garments.
Creating the Patterns for the Tailored Trousers & Jackets.
Preparing the Garments for Construction.
Sewing Techniques, including Fitting & Proper Finishing.

There are 2 options available:

The Weekend Option (Saturdays only) begins 2 May, 2015 for 12 weeks; and
The Weekday Option (Wednesdays & Thursdays) for 6 weeks.

Time is 12 noon to 5pm for both options.

Course Fees:

Course Fees & Payment Options:

The Course Fees are N52,500.

BUT I am offering 2 payment options:

Option 1:

Payment of the full fees on/before 24 April, 2015 entitles you to a discount of 15% off  the fees.  That's over N7,500 off - N7,875 to be precise!  :-D  Yet another deal as part of my Dealdey promo.  Like I said in the other post, I have to run a promo to advertise on their site - which works out great for you anyway so it's fine. :-D

Option 2:

Similar to the Fashion Illustration Course, I am offering an instalmental payment option of a maximum of 2 instalments - N40,000 upfront & N12,500 (due on/before Session 7) - which is halfway through the Course.

This means if you go for this option, you are not entitled to the discount but it is still easier on your pocket! :-D  And we also encourage you to pay on/before 24 April, 2015 to enable us prepare for you and get all your materials ready for you.

Regardless of the option you choose, the fees are all inclusive of your toolkit, handouts and writing materials and your training certificate (training certificate is issued only after all assignments have been submitted).

You will, however, be required to bring a fabric of your choice and your buttons - since I am sure you will want to wear the jacket.  Check out the fabrics in the picture.  Stunning right?!  I am sure you have lots of unused fabrics lying in your closet so this should not be a problem. :-D

Registration Details:

Registration as always is simple!  Simply pay the fees into the Martwayne Dynamiques account, 101 411 8569 at any Zenith Bank branch.

Venue is The Martwayne Training Centre in Surulere, Lagos.  It is about a 2 minute drive from the National Stadium.  Venue details will only be sent to registered participants.
