Fees & Duration


The fees for each Short Course are stated below.  For students who wish to run the Foundation Course, you would need to add each of the fees below to get the total.

Each Course costs the following:


-  Beginners Course:


N60,000 (Fees) + N10,000 (toolkit) + N10,000 (refundable caution fee to cover damages and unnecessary extensions to the Course) = N80,000


Duration:


Weekday Option: 4 weeks (3x a week)

Weekend Option: 12 weeks (Saturdays only)

-  Design, Fashion Illustration and Computer Aided Design (CAD):  


This Course offers various options and the fees vary depending on the option you choose.  There are 3 parts to the Course:


Part 1:  Design, Concept Development & Portfolio Presentation

Part 2:  Fashion Illustration
Part 3:  Digital Illustration

Option 1:   Full Course  -  
N80,000

Option 2:  Part 2 + Part 3 only -  N65,000
Option 3:  Part 2 or Part 3 only - N50,000
Option 4:  Part 1 only - N35,000
Option 5:  Part 1 + Part 2 or Part 3 only - N60,000 only

Please note that the fees are based on the fact that you will use your own tablet for the Course.  Should you wish to purchase a digital graphic tablet from us, this will cost an additional N30,000 and you will require a laptop as well.


Duration:


The duration is dependent on the option you choose.  You can opt for the weekday or the weekend option.  You cannot do both and you cannot switch between options when classes have started.


Option 1: 8 weeks;  Weekdays: 2x a week, Weekends, 2 Sessions a day 

Option 2: 6 weeks; Weekday & Weekend Option
Option 3: Weekdays: 3 weeks; Weekends 6 weeks, 1 Session a day
Option 4: Weekdays: 1 week; Weekends: 2 weeks, 1 session per day
Option 5: Weekdays: 4 weeks; Weekends: 6 weeks, 2 sessions in the first 2 weeks per day and then 1 session per day after completion of the Part 1.

-  Bodices, Shirts & Dresses:  


There are 3 parts to this Course:


Part 1: The Fundamentals of Dressmaking

Part 2: Intermediate Class
Part 3: Advanced Class

Part 1: 


Current Students:  N60,000.  There is no need for another toolkit and the caution fee is transferred to this Course if unutilized.


New Students: Fees (N65,000) + N10,000 (toolkit) + N10,000 refundable caution fee = N85,000


Duration:


Weekdays: 5 weeks (3x a week)

Weekends: 15 Weeks (Saturdays only)

Part 2: 


N70,000 + N15,000 (texts).  


The texts are optional ONLY if you already have a hard or electronic copy of the recommended texts.


Duration:


Weekdays:  6 weeks (3x a week)

Weekends: 18 weeks (Saturdays only).  

Part 3: 


N68,500


Duration:


Weekdays:  6 weeks (3x a week)


Weekends: 18 weeks (Saturdays only).  


Please note that students can complete this Course in a shorter period of time if they choose to complete part of the Course during their leave.


-  Jacket-Making & Trousers:  


Current Students: N70,000.  
There is no need for another toolkit and the caution fee is transferred to this Course if unutilized.


New Students:  Fees (N75,000) + N10,000 (toolkit) + N10,000 refundable caution fee = N95,000


Duration:


Weekdays: 6 weeks (3x a week)

Weekends: 12 weeks (Saturdays only)

-  Fashion Entrepreneurship Course:


There are 8 Volumes in this Course spread across 5 sessions.



Day 1:

FEC 1: Understanding Fashion, the Industry, its Related Fields; & The Design & Production Process - N12,500 

Day 2:

FEC 2: How to Develop Your Designs from Scratch & Communicating Them to Your Production Team - N12,500

FEC 3: Understanding & Choosing Colours & Fabrics from Your Clothing Line - N12,500

Day 3:

FEC 4: How to Start Your Own Clothing Line - A Look at the Clothing Manufacturing Process - N10,000 

FEC 5: How to GET the Funds You Need to Start Your Own Clothing Line (Generating Funds from Within) - N10,000

Day 4:

FEC 6:  How to Sell Your Clothes & Make a Profit on Your Clothing Line - N10,000

FEC 8:  Dealing with "Horror" Customers in Your Fashion Business - N10,000

Day 5: 

FEC 7:  Building Business Structures for Your Clothing Line - a look at the Accounting, Tax, Legal and Administrative Sides to Running a Fashion Business - N12,500

PS.  Please note that this is not a Sewing Class.

You get a 10% discount if you register for all Volumes.

Classes typically start at 12 noon and end at 5pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends, except otherwise specifically stated for specific courses.  Students in the sewing classes who wish to catch up on missed work may, however, come in at 10am.

Students may also choose to complete the entire Course in a shorter period of time by combining courses which take place on different days.


For example, you may choose to register for Beginners (3 days a week) and the Design and Illustration Course (weekend option), since the Courses will likely take place on different days.  The specific days will be stated when the Course is running.
