Upcoming Fashion Design & Pattern Making Courses at Martwayne

Hello Everyone!!!  Hope you had a great month!!!

We did as well.  We completed one Level 1a and we are ready to move on to Level 1b of the Foundation Course in Fashion Design.  We are also making plans to begin a new stream.

We also included a new topic in Module 2a of the Foundation Course.  :-D  We have engaged the services of a fab illustrator and classes started on Saturday.  And I must say, I am really impressed with what I saw after just one lecture.  Pretty excited to see how these classes will help the 2a class with their collection for 2b.

Great!

So I noticed it has been a while since I gave an update on our upcoming courses.  This short post will simply itemize the next few courses we will be launching and running in the next 2 months.  I will give details of each course in separate posts.

1.  The Foundation Course in Fashion Design - Start Date: 26 April, 2014

Details are available at this link:

2.  Basic Course in Pattern-Making:  Start Date - 7 May, 2014

This Course is long overdue as I had made several promises to people to run this Course but was not quite sure how it would work out.  This will begin on the 7th of May at 12 noon.

Details will follow shortly in a separate post.

3.  Basic Course in Fit & Finishing - 7 May, 2014

This Course is an extension of the Basic Course in Pattern-Making and is targeted at advanced learners who can already sew but have fitting issues.  It will predominantly be run as a pattern-making course while the last few sessions of the Course will focus on the finishing of the garments.

So... these are the Courses so far.  There are still 2 in the works and once I have fine-tuned them, we will be good to go.

As I said earlier, this is just to give a headsup on the next few courses coming up.  I will give details on each Course in separate posts.

Have a great day everyone!

Cheers!

Oh... PS:

Here is me saying a huge thank you to those who attended the Rerun of FEC 6 on "How to Sell Your Clothes & Make a Profit on Your Clothing Line" yesterday!  No I did not really market it... or better put, I sent the message out too late.  But running the Course made me realise how much I had missed the FECs.  It was great fun.
