Welcome Note!

Welcome to Martwayne! Yes this site is about fashion - no excuses for that - BUT we will be talking about fashion from a different perspective... as a tool for business success!

Everyone loves to look good and yes, majority of us love fashion! But we all know that fashion goes wayyyyy beyond stitching and there is a lot more to "it" than mere sewing!

SO

"Fashion Beyond Stitches" will discuss how to turn your love for fashion into money-spinners, sharing knowledge, ideas and skills necessary to run successful fashion businesses.

Oh of course this blog will not be complete without our very own T.Williams ranting and raving about her personal challenges as a fashion entrepreneur in the Nigerian Fashion Industry. But don't worry, there are also happy days and all her personal stuff will be filed under the label "T.Williams".

SO enjoy, follow & subscribe to our blog, post your comments, ask questions, offer advice, and spread the link! Cheers!

Countdown to FEC 2... It's Tomorrow 31 March 2012 @ Planet 1!!!

Hello People!!!

Please tell me y'all are all ready for FEC 2 tomorrow...  I am really excited and I am soooooo certain you'll enjoy it!  I have sent out my bulk e-mails and if you haven't received it (because I got so many returned mails) you will get an sms soon.

Goodness this office is literally like upside down.  We are packing the training materials and have pencils, rulers, sharpeners, training manuals, all over the place.  Quite exhausting actually but we're all loving it :-D

Check out some pictures...

My young intern Chizobam... Tres fab chic!

Our new mobile whiteboard and photocopier...

Gosh!  I haven't seen anyone so happy to pack pencils and erasers before.  Lol.  She's great!  Very eager to learn!  Extremely encouraging!  And so are my staff!  God bless them!

So yeah!  People, we are BUSY getting ready for you tomorrow.  I'm even worried for myself.  I'm not done with my slides and presentations.  But those who know me will tell you I am a churner!  So not to worry, I will churn out my work before tomorrow.  AND my support facilitator is on his way so we can rehearse.

I'm hoping you all saw the various posts on various sites and Facebook pages.  This is me saying a HUGE thank you to everyone who assisted with a free post or mention on their FB pages.  I really am grateful from the depths of my heart!

Check out the sites and tell me why I should not be grinning:

For those who didn't receive the e-mail, here it is again!
